Le Village reprend ses airs de fête pour

mondiaux Montréal 2006. La rue Sainte-Catherine
se transformera en un grand terrain de jeu,
animé par Équipe Montréal
et ses équipes sportives.
Le grandpublic pourra participer
et découvrir des sports en démonstration
aux tournois présentés dans la
rue, tels que le volley-ball de plage, le bridge,
la lutte, le patinage artistique, le basketball,
le badminton, la danse sportive, l’aérobie
et la natation.
Les bars et les commerces du Village vous proposent
une programmation spéciale et de nombreuses
terrasses seront aménagées pour
l’occasion.
Le cocktail de clôture
du Rendez-Vous dans le Village, courtoisie de
la Chambre de commerce gaie du Québec,
où se tiendra la remise des médailles
aux gagnants des divers tournois sportifs, aura
