Pink Flamingo, a spectacular and original aquatic
show will take place on Saturday, 5 August 2006,
under the theme « FLAMBOYANT / OUTRAGEOUS ».

Teams will be limited to 5 minutes and will be
judged on overall creativity, costumes, choreography,
and use of the pool. Points will be lost for being
over the 5 minute time limit.
Awards will
be given for the following:
- Overall creativity
- Costumes
- Choreography
- Pool use
Please note that a deduction
will be applied for choreographies going over
the 5 minutes time limit. Special prizes will
be given in the following categories:
- Best costume
- Best use of theme : « FLAMBOYANT
/ OUTRAGEOUS »
- Best choreography
- Crowd support
- Best performance
The Judges' decision will be
final and announced at the end of the contest.
When arranging your Pink Flamingo performance,
please refrain from using nudity or glitter. Please
ensure overall "good taste" and common sense.
Team costumes must meet the
following criteria:
- no dye or body paint that
dissolves in water
- no tissue paper, metal chains,
sequins, or feathers
- no small plastic items that
could enter the filtration system
Any damage that is caused by
a team who did not follow the rules will be charged
directly to that team.
More specific information in
regards to pool layout, sound system, practice,
scoring, judges, etc. will be provided to each
team's Pink Flamingo Coordinator.
Please bring a CD of your music
and a 25 word introduction to the Pink Flamingo
Chair at registration time.
No sanction required for this event.
The official schedule will be posted here after
registration period closed in 2006.
Teams will be given special awards and will receive
prizes for first second and third position
