Visa Information
By Credit Card
We accept Visa and MasterCard. Registration fees
will be charged to your credit card in Canadian
dollars (CAD).
Your credit card
company will convert amounts to your own currency
when billing your account.
Registration will
not be considered final until the credit card
transaction has been completed and payment has
been received in full.

If you would rather not pay online, you can still
make your payment by credit card by calling us
at +1 (514) 252-5858 ext. 5346. You will need
to provide your Registration Number, your credit
card information, including the card-holder's
name, number and expiry date.
Registration will
not be considered final until the credit card

been received in full.
By Personal cheque,
bank cheque or money order
Canadian and American
residents
Canadian or American residents
can pay by personal cheque, bank cheque or money
order. Cheques must be drawn from a Canadian or
American bank, in Canadian dollars (CAD). Please
make payable to: Comité organisateur des Jeux
Montréal 2006. Cheques for insufficient funds
will be subject to an administration fee of $35
CAD per cheque. Cheques should be mailed to:

Residents from
outside Canada and USA
An international money order will be accepted,
provided it is made out to an amount in Canadian
dollars (CAD). Please ensure that your Registration
Number, First and Last Names are supplied with
the submission of the money order.

Registration and payment records for Teams, Sports
leagues, City teams, cultural groups, and organisations
registering for the Conference wishing to pay
by instalments must be done offline.
The following types of groups
may elect to pay in instalments.
- Teams of 5 players or more
- Sports leagues (one sport)
of 3 teams or more
- City teams (multisport)
- Cultural groups, ensembles
or organisations of 6 persons or more
- Organisations, associations
or companies registering for the Conference
The team captain,
group coordinator, or organisation representative
must contact the 1st World
Outgames Montréal 2006 Organising Committee by
telephone, e-mail or fax to arrange for registration
and payment.

All changes must be made before 30 April 2006.
Any transfers requested after that date will be
accepted or refused at the discretion of the organising
committee.
You may register for additional
events WITHIN a Sport or Cultural event after
you have registered. There is no additional fee
for adding events within a sport or cultural activity.
To change your registration
details, you need to login using your username
and password. You can then modify any parts of
your registration. If you have entered more than
two different sports of cultural events, check
the Event Schedules (Cultural and Sport) to avoid
any potential clashes. Ensure that the payment
page is complete with the actual amounts showing
and shown as paid. You will receive an electronic
acknowledgement so please ensure that you have
correctly entered your email address.
The regular fee of
$75.00 CAD for an additional sport or cultural
activity will apply for NEW sport/cultural events
added to an existing registration.
You cannot make changes
within closed sport or cultural activities (i.e.
where there are waiting lists).

Please include your Registration Number, First and
Last Names in your email or letter.
a)
For cancellations within 90 days of registration,
90% of the fee received will be refunded, minus
an administration fee of $35.00 CAD which will
be applied to all cancellations, regardless of
whether payment has been made in full or in part.
b) For cancellations received more than 90 days
after registration, 50% of the fee received will
be refunded, minus an administration fee of $35.00
CAD which will be applied to all cancellations,
regardless of whether payment has been made in
full or in part.
c) For cancellations received after 31 December
2005, no refunds will be made.
d) After 30 April 2006, if you are unable to attend,
please let us know so that we can remove you from
the accreditation process.
Inclement Weather
and other conditions beyond our control (Sport
and Culture only)
Many events will take place outdoors and there
is, therefore, a risk that adverse weather conditions
may cause cancellations. No refunds will be made
for events that are cancelled due to inclement
weather or any other conditions arising beyond
our control.
Excess number
of registered participants (Sport and Culture
only)
If the number of participants exceeds the number
of available places in any particular event, registrants
will be contacted to determine if another sport,
grade or cultural activity can be selected. If
no suitable alternative can be found, registration
fees received will be refunded in full.
Inadequate number
of registered participants (Sport and Culture
only)
If prior to the opening of the1st World OutGames
- Rendez-Vous Montr??al 2006, the number
of registered participants is insufficient to
enable a competition or event to take place, registrants
will be contacted to determine whether or not
another sport, grade or cultural activity can
be selected. If no suitable alternative can be
found, registration fees will be refunded in full.
Failure of registered
participants to turn up to an event
No refund will be made if a registered participant
fails to turn up at the scheduled time of the
event or activity.
No refund will be
made if an event is cancelled should the number
of participants who fail to turn up on time render
the event incapable of being held.
Following payment and processing of your Registration
Fee, a confirmation will be issued which can be
presented to the appropriate authority within
your country with your visa application, should
you require a visa to enter Canada. This document
will not guarantee a visa being issued and the
Montréal 2006 Organising Committee accepts no
responsibility for this process.
Should your visa application
be declined, you may apply to the Finance Department
for a refund of Registration Fee. The Cancellations
must be made in writing quoting the relevant Registration
Number and submitted to: payment@montreal2006.org.
A $35.00 (CAD) administration fee will bee deducted
from the refund. All refunds will be granted at
the discretion of the Comité organisateur des
Jeux Montréal 2006 Registration Manager.
