New Spring Look

recently, on 20
March, and just
in time for spring,
the new look of
the 1st World
Outgames was unveiled
at a press conference.
More than thirty
local journalists
turned out at the
Delta Centre-Ville
Hotel to witness
our brand new advertising
campaign “We
Play for Real!”
Check it out for
yourself!. Remember
that the 1st World Outgames is
the largest LGBT
event ever, celebrating
sports, culture
and human rights.

The

Starting Line!
A
Winning Combo: New
Partners!
“The
1st World
Outgames are proud
to announce the
addition of CGI,
Speedo, Envers and
Mikasa as new partners,”
said Ms. Louise
Roy, speaking at
a press conference
on 20 March. “The
CGI Group Inc. is
the eighth largest
independent information
technology (IT)
and business process
services firm in
the world.”
Equally
big is the news
that Speedo will
be producing an
athletic collection
sporting the Outgames
insignia in collaboration
with Signa Marketing
Inc. In addition,
Envers and their
designer, Yves Jean
Lacasse, will create
an exclusive collection
for the event. The
press conference
also had good news
for athletes: Mikasa,
known the world
over for the balls
used at the Olympics
and world championships,
will be the official
supplier to the
1st World Outgames
for its sporting
competitions in
basketball, handball,
volleyball, beach
volleyball, soccer
and water polo!

at the Théâtre
Saint-Denis!

in Montéal’s
Latin Quarter, only
10 minutes by foot
from the Gay Village,
this theatre is
one of the city’s
most renowned venues
for hosting major
shows. The Theatre
can hold up to 2,200
spectators –
seats that are sure
to sell out fast
for these events!

Three
incredible shows
are awaiting you
at the 1st World Outgames!
In step with the
aquatic sports competitions,
the Figure Skating
and Dancesport competitions,
these shows bring
out another side
of sport. FUN!
With
its theme “Outrageous
– Flamboyant”,
the Out-Splash! aquatic show, which
includes a team
competition, promises
to be as much fun
for the spectators
as for the athletes.
Athletes registered
in a team have the
chance to present
a choreography,
which will be evaluated
on a number of criteria.
The three best teams
will be selected.
