Find
your match for
July 2006!
The
Montréal
2006 sport team
will be playing
the role of
matchmaker over
the coming weeks,
according to
Sport Director
Michel Langelier.
That is, they
will be inviting
athletes looking
for partners
or team mates
in their sport
discipline to
register now.
The Montréal
2006 sport team
will be there
to help them
find their “match”!
Are
you an individual
athlete but
would like to
play doubles
in tennis, be
part of a rowing
crew or maybe
even be part
of a hockey
team? No problem!
Just register
now and don’t
miss this fantastic
opportunity
to be part of
the largest
LGBT gathering
in history.
It’s
easy! Simply
register online,
and select the
“Looking
for a Partner”
or “Looking
for a Team”
option from
the registration
menu. Once you
have registered,
the Montréal
2006 sport team
will get to
work matching
you with an
individual or
a team already
registered.
A good example,
according to
Michel Langelier,
would be the
planned forming
of an international
hockey team
from individual
players.
Many
solutions are
in place to
make it easy
for athletes
looking for
partners or
teams in their
sport discipline.
The Sport Director
gives the example
of the Gay
+ Lesbian Rowing
Federation
(GLRF) message
boards, which
offer rowers
a similar option.
