Le Comité organisateur des Jeux – Montréal 2006 is presently looking for student candidates (graduates or not) to fill several positions within the organising committee of the 1st World Outgames in Montréal.

Description
There are job openings in the following sectors:

• Supervision and coordination
• Ceremonies coordination
• Promotion and sales
• Dispatchers
• Attendants
• Production assistants
• Assistant managers for the telephone line for volunteers
• Volunteer assignment clerks
• Personnel for set-up /dismantling and technical supervision

Reporting to the management of the departments concerned, the selected candidates will complete tasks assigned within their job descriptions.

Salary will be according to established policies within the organisation and the applicant’s experience.

Start date: Immediately
Duration of employment: Until 11 August 2006
Type of employment: Full-time with variable schedule

Requirement
• Must have been a full-time student during the past year
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Must be available to work days, nights and weekends as needed.
• Must be a team player and open to working within the gay
  and lesbian community
• Must be versatile
• Must be resourceful
