Rules USA Registration Week

Be a coordinator for the 1st
World Outgames USA Registration Week and you could
win one of two round trip Air Canada tickets to
Montréal during the Outgames in Montréal!
- Contest open from 29 April to
8 May 2005
- Eligible to participate: all
USA Registration Coordinators who organize registration
days during the USA Registration Week (29 April
to 8 May 2005)
- One of two prizes will be awarded
to one USA Registration Week Coordinator in
the “OutEast” region and the other
to the USA Registration Week Coordinator in
the “OutWest” region of the continental
US (as defined in the General Rules below)
- The “OutEast”-”OutWest”
Contest prize draw will be held on
18 May 2005, based upon the highest number of
paid registrations received (see “Prize”
section below)
- Prizes can only be redeemed
between 1 July and 31 August 2006
- Prizes are not transferable from
one person to another
- Prizes cannot be exchanged for
money at any time
Montréal
2006, in collaboration with Air Canada, will draw
two (2) free round trip airline tickets in total.
One ticket will be awarded to the “OutEast”
Coordinator (whose registration address is located
within the Eastern or Central time zone in the
continental US) who obtains the highest number
of paid* registrations in his or her region during
USA Registration Week and one ticket will be awarded
to “OutWest” Coordinator (whose registration
address is located within the Mountain or Pacific
Time zone in the continental USA) who obtains
the highest number of paid* registrations in his
or her region during USA Registration Week.
*USA Registration Week coordinators must return
their competed list of registrants before midnight
(EST) on 15 May 2005 to qualify. The registrants
on the coordinator’s list must have paid
their registrations in full or, in the case
of teams or groups paying in instalments, the
first instalment payment must have been be paid
in order for the registrant to be counted on
the coordinator’s list.

To celebrate USA Registration Week, the 1st
World Outgames Montréal 2006 Organising
Committee, in collaboration with Air Canada, is
organising a promotional contest to stimulate
registrations in the continental United States
of America in the sport and cultural programmes
as well as for "The Right to Be Different"
International Conference, all of which will be
held in Montréal from 26 July to 5 August
2006. The Comité organisateur des Jeux
Montréal 2006 (hereafter referred to as
"The Organisers") will oversee the management
of this promotional contest.
- Two (2) single round trip tickets
to Montréal (valid in 2006 only), courtesy
of Air Canada.
Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable,
non-redeemable for cash value, and no substitutions
of prizes are allowed, in whole or in part. Prizes
are awarded "as is".
- To be eligible
for the contest, contest participants must be
residents of the United States and agree to
act as USA Registration Week Coordinators by
organizing a registration day(s) during USA
Registration Week, from 29 April to 8 May 2005.
- 1 prize will be awarded to the
“OutEast” Coordinator (whose registration
address is located within the Eastern or Central
time zone in the continental US) and 1 prize
will be awarded to the “OutWest”
Coordinator (whose registration address is located
within the Mountain or Pacific Time zone in
the continental USA) who obtains the highest
number of paid registrations during USA Registration
Week.
- USA Registration Week Coordinators
must return their complete list of registrants
no later than midnight (EST) on 15 May 2005.
- Registrants on coordinator’s
list must have paid their registration fees
in full or, in the case of teams or groups using
the instalment payment plan, the first payment
must have been received in order to be counted
as part of the Coordinator’s group.
- All registered participants must
be eighteen (18) years of age or over.
- Coordinators may have the registrant
complete an online registration form at www.montreal2006.info
or may requesting paper registration forms for
registrants to complete.
- Employees and administrators
of the 1st World
Outgames Montréal 2006 Organising Committee
are not eligible to participate.
The odds of winning a prize depends upon the total
number of eligible Coordinators who participate
during USA Registration Week between 29 April
2005 at 08:00 Eastern Time (GMT –05:00)
and 8 May 2005 at 23:59 Eastern Time (GMT –05:00).
- The contest begins on
29 April 2005 at 08:00 Eastern Time (GMT –05:00),
and ends 8 May 2005 at 23:59 Eastern Time (GMT
–05:00).
- 1st
World Outgames registration forms are available

forms are also available by contacting the office
of the 1st
World Outgames Montréal 2006 Organising

- Winners will be chosen
on 18 May 2005 at 9:00 Eastern Time (GMT -05:00),
based upon the total number of paid registrations
reported by participating Coordinators in each
region and validated by the Organisers.
- If a selected winner does
not meet the eligibility requirements or any
other conditions of these rules, the person
will be disqualified and the Coordinator with
the next highest number of reported and validated
registrations in that region will be selected
until such time as a suitable winner has been
drawn.
- In accepting the prize,
the winner recognises that The Organisers
and their sponsors cannot be held responsible
for the winner's inability to use the prize
as awarded in the context of the contest and
assumes no responsibility for the quality of
prizes awarded in the contest.
- The Organisers
assume no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected
entries.
- In accepting the prize,
the winner recognises that the provision of
services related to prizes is the sole and complete
responsibility of the service provider.
- The Organisers
reserve the right, at their sole and complete
discretion, to cancel, terminate or suspend
this contest in the event that infection by
computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized
intervention or technical failures of any kind
beyond the control of The Organisers interfere
with the administration, impartiality, security
or normal running of the contest, subject to
the approval of the Régie des alcools,
des courses et des jeux du Québec.
- No correspondence will
be made with contest entrants except for the
contest winners.
- For the purposes of this
contest, the participant is considered to be
the person whose name, address and telephone
number were indicated on the USA Registration
Week Coordinator form returned. Where applicable,
this will be the person to whom the prize will
be awarded.
- Prize winners will be
chosen on 18 May 2005 at 9:00 Eastern Time (GMT
-05:00) at 4141, avenue Pierre-De Coubertin
in Montréal.
- The Organisers
will designate a representative to validate
the eligible registrations. All decisions by
The Organisers and their representative will
be final.
- Individuals residing at
the same address are only eligible to win one
prize in this contest.
- For those who meet all
eligibility requirements, individuals selected
as winners will win one of the two prizes described
in the "PRIZES" section of the rules,
according to their registration address as indicated
in their online registration form.
- Winners will be notified
by email or by telephone of what prize they
have won and how to claim their prize. Winners
may claim their prize by contacting The
Organisers.
- Winners will have until
31 August 2006 to accept delivery of the services
attributed to the prize description. After this
date, winners will not be able to claim their
prize.
- The Organisers
and the contest sponsor reserve the right to
require that contest winners present proof of
identity before receiving their prize.
- The Organisers,
their agents and the contest sponsor cannot
be held responsible if the prize winner is delayed
in, impeded from or unable to claim his or her
prize.
- In accepting the prize,
the winner will agree in writing to allow their
name and photograph to be published in publications
identified by The Organisers and their
sponsors, without compensation.
- Any disputes regarding
the organisation or operation of a public contest
may be submitted to the Régie des alcools,
des courses et des jeux du Québec for
settlement. The Régie des alcools,
des courses et des jeux is located at 1,
rue Notre-Dame Est in Montréal.
- Any disputes regarding
the awarding of prizes may be submitted to the
Régie des alcools, des courses et
des jeux, only for the purpose of helping
the parties reach a settlement.

- All duties payable to the
Régie des alcools, des courses et des
jeux du Québec will be paid by The
Organisers.
