Montréal 2006, in collaboration
with Air Canada, will draw 6 free return airline
tickets in total to be awarded to 6 individual
early registrants in sports, culture or the International
Conference whose fees have been paid in full.
1 prize per winner.
Montréal 2006 will draw 6 free
individual International Conference single-admission
registration passes from among sport and cultural
early registrants whose fees have been paid in
full. There will also be a draw for 6 free individual
sports or culture registration passes (free registration
to one (1) sport or cultural activity) from among
early registrants to the conference whose fees
have been paid in full. 1 prize per winner.
Montréal 2006, in collaboration
with the Village Merchants and Professionals Association,
will draw 12 free dinners for two in total, valid
at participating restaurants, to be awarded to
12 individual early registrants in sports, culture
or the International Conference whose fees have
been paid in full. 1 prize per winner.

To mark the opening
of registrations for the 1st
World Outgames, the Montréal 2006 Organising Committee,
in collaboration with its sponsors, is organising
a promotional contest to stimulate registrations
in the sport and cultural programmes as well as
for "The Right to Be Different" International
Conference, all of which will be held in Montréal
from 26 July to 5 August 2006. The Comité organisateur
des Jeux Montréal 2006 (hereafter referred
to as "The Organisers") will oversee the
management of this promotional contest.
PRIZES
Twenty-four (24) prizes with a total value of
up to $22,000 CAD will be offered in the contest.
These prizes will be:
- Six (6) round trip tickets
to Montréal (valid in 2006 only), courtesy of
Air Canada.
- Six (6) free single-admission
registration passes for "The Right to Be Different"
International Conference which will be held
from 26 to 29 July 2006 at the Palais des congrès
of Montréal.
- Twelve (12) certificates
for a dinner-for-two at participating Montréal
restaurants, valid from 25 July to 6 August
2006.
Prizes are non-exchangeable,
non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash value,
and no substitutions of prizes are allowed, in
whole or in part. Prizes are awarded "as is".
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- To be eligible for the contest,
the participant must register in the sport and/or
cultural programme during the Early Registration
period from 7 June to 31 December 2004.
- Registration in the 1st World
Outgames will not be considered final until
fees have been paid in full.
- All registered participants
must be eighteen (18) years of age or over
- To register, a participant

or may register by requesting paper registration
forms.
- Employees
and administrators of the 1st World
Outgames Montréal 2006 Organising Committee
are not eligible to participate.
ODDS OF WINNING
The odds of winning prizes depends
upon the total number of eligible participants
registered between 7 June 2004 at 08:00 Eastern
Time (GMT -05:00) and 31 December 2004 at 23:59
Eastern Time (GMT -05:00).
CONTEST RULES
- The contest begins on 7 June
2004 at 08:00 Eastern Time (GMT -05:00), and
ends 31 December 2004 at 23:59 Eastern Time
(GMT -05:00).
- 1st World

by contacting the office of the 1st World
Outgames Montréal 2006 Organising Committee.

- Winners will be chosen at
random on the 7th day
of each month at 9:00 Eastern Time (GMT -05:00),
with the first draw on 7 August 2004 and the
last draw on 7 January 2005 at 09:00 Eastern
Time (GMT -05:00).
- If a selected winner does
not meet the eligibility requirements or any
other conditions of these rules, the person
will be disqualified and another random draw
will be held until such time as a suitable winner
has been drawn.
- In accepting the prize, the
winner recognises that The Organisers
and their sponsors cannot be held responsible
for the winner's inability to use the prize
as awarded in the context of the contest and
assumes no responsibility for the quality of
prizes awarded in the contest.
- The Organisers assume
no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected
entries.
.In accepting the prize, the winner recognises
that the provision of services related to prizes
is the sole and complete responsibility of the
service provider.
- The Organisers reserve
the right, at their sole and complete discretion,
to cancel, terminate or suspend this contest
in the event that infection by computer virus,
bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or
technical failures of any kind beyond the control
of The Organisers interfere with the
administration, impartiality, security or normal
running of the contest, subject to the approval
of the Régie des alcools, des courses et
des jeux du Québec.
- No correspondence will be
made with contest entrants except for the contest
winners.
- For the purposes of this
contest, the participant is considered to be
the person whose name, address and telephone
number were indicated on the registration forms
for the 1st World
Outgames. Where applicable, this will be the
person to whom the prize will be awarded.
AWARDING OF PRIZES
- Prizes winners will be selected
in a random drawing on the 7th day
of each month at 9:00 Eastern Time (GMT -05:00),
with the first draw on 7 August 2004 at 4141,
avenue Pierre-De Coubertin in Montréal.
- The Organisers will
designate a representative to validate the eligible
registrations. All decisions by The Organisers
and their representative will be final.
- Individuals residing at the
same address are only eligible to win one prize
in this contest.
- For those who meet all eligibility
requirements, individuals selected as winners
will win one of the prizes described in the
"PRIZES" section of the rules, in the order
determined by and their representative at the
time of the draw.
- Winners will be notified
by email and by registered mail of what prize
they have won and how to claim their prize.
Winners may claim their prize by contacting
The Organisers.
- Winners will have until 31
August 2006 to accept delivery of the services
attributed to the prize description. After this
date, winners will not be able to claim their
prize.
- The Organisers and
the contest sponsors reserve the right to require
that contest winners present proof of identity
before receiving their prize.
- The Organisers, their
agents and the contest sponsors cannot be held
responsible if the prize winner is delayed in,
impeded from or unable to claim his or her prize.
GENERAL
- In accepting the prize, the
winner will agree in writing to allow their
name and photograph to be published in publications
identified by The Organisers and their
sponsors, without compensation.
- Any disputes regarding the
organisation or operation of a public contest
may be submitted to the Régie des alcools,
des courses et des jeux du Québec for settlement.
The Régie des alcools, des courses et des
jeux is located at 1, rue Notre-Dame Est
in Montréal.
- Any disputes regarding the
awarding of prizes may be submitted to the Régie
des alcools, des courses et des jeux, only
for the purpose of helping the parties reach
a settlement.

- All duties payable to the
Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux
du Québec will be paid by The Organisers.
