The
1st World
Outgames are proud
to present the largest-ever international
conference on
gay, lesbian, bisexual
and transgender rights.
The Right to Be Different
involves more than
2000 participants
from all over the
world. The
Conference will be
held in Montréal
on 26-29 July 2006,
just before the opening
of the 1st World
Outgames, at the
Palais des Congrès,
a vast, spacious
and modern convention
centre. There will
be lot of workshops,
as well as 5 plenary
sessions for all
participants, featuring
keynote speeches
by well known international
speakers involved
with GLBT issues.
CALL
FOR PROPOSALS:
DEADLINE IS
31 OCTOBER
2005!
The
purpose of the
Call for Proposals
by the International
Scientific Committee
that is organising
the content of
the Conference
is to solicit speakers
for the workshops
(3 or 4 speakers
per 90-minute workshop).
Proposals are welcome
from any person
who is interested
in the goal of
equality for LGBT
persons, regardless
of their sexual
orientation or
gender identity.
